RdRCannabis is a project to provide information on risk reduction in cannabis use and encourage people to think about their own use so that it is respectful and as harmless as possible.

RdRCannabis was set up in 2020 following a training course held in 2016 by the Subdirectorate General for Substance Abuse in the Public Health Agency of Catalonia (ASPC) on ‘cannabis and health’ addressed to members of cannabis associations. Following this training course, the ASPC set up a working group to offer advice and proposals for shaping new participation contents, designs and strategies. It also drew on the input of several healthcare professionals with experience in this field. This website is driven by organisations working in prevention and communication. Its social media are geared towards promoting interaction with the proposal’s target audience.
